Help TransForm reach their fundraising goal before the end of the year 1

With the end of the year fast approaching, our friends at TransForm are trying to set themselves up for success in 2013 by raising $75,000 to help them continue their pursuit of creating world-class public transportation and walkable communities for everyone. The Bay Area non-profit organization has been working to influence policy and develop innovative programs since 1997, and with the support of numerous donors has already raised over $55,000.

Last week GJEL joined TransForm in their 15th Anniversary Campaign by issuing a matching challenge, and agreeing to make an additional donation for each gift received. Thanks to the generosity of TransForm’s supporters, the challenge generated $5,500 in donations and GJEL was proud to contribute $1,000 in matching funds.

However, the year isn’t over yet and TransForm is still shy of their final goal. If you’re looking to make one last charitable donation before December 31st you could do a lot worse than supporting an organization lobbying on behalf of public transportation, smart growth, affordable housing, and bicycle/pedestrian safety.

Learn more about TransForm on their website or donate to their 15th Anniversary Campaign and be part of the movement to transform transportation in 2013.
