GJEL Accident Attorneys Bike Safety Survey

In honor of May as National Bike Month, the League of American Cyclists is sponsoring a variety of programs designed to improve awareness about bicycle safety and urge city officials and lawmakers to help make the roads safer for cyclists. And while cyclists shouldn’t be blamed for all bicycle accidents, they can take steps to assure their own safety, like wear a helmet and obey all traffic signs.

With this in mind, we’re curious to see how many cyclists view helmet use as important, and whether that opinion changes with the age of the cyclist.     I’m interested to hear the results of the survey! How long are you running it for, before tabulating results?

    Kaitlin,

    Thanks for asking. The plan is to run the survey for most of the month of May, ending on May 27, and publish the results on Monday May 30.
