Andy Gillin received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1965, and his law degree from the University of Chicago in 1968. He founded the firm in 1972, and has specialized in civil litigation for over 30 years.

He is a co-author of California Government Tort Liability Practice, Continuing Education of the Bar, 1992. He has written and lectured in the field of civil litigation for numerous organizations.

Andy was born December 25, 1943 in Los Angeles, California.
