While SFPD tickets bicyclists, illegally parked cars in front of city hall go unnoticed
Illegally parked cars line the median of Fulton Street in front of City Hall
Last week we snapped an image that encapsulates the state of transportation policy in San Francisco: in front of City Hall along Fulton Street lies a row of illegally parked cars in the median of the street. We had never noticed this before, but we’re guessing this is a common practice – like the free-for-all of Sunday parking, but an everyday practice for city employees who want free parking. As the SFPD cracks down on bicyclists on the Wiggle, and elsewhere, it’s ironic to see such a brazen disregard for the law in front of City Hall.
