Tell Others You’re Safe and Find Missing People
The American Red Cross has setup their Safe and Well program which allows Camp Fire victims to either list themselves as safe for others to see or search for people who have marked themselves as safe. If you’re having trouble connecting with family and friends this is a great way to let them know that everything is OK.
You can register for this program on the American Red Cross website here: https://safeandwell.communityos.org/cms/index.php
General Disaster Assistance
The US Government has set up the Disaster Assistance website which will help you find the closest FEMA centers and review the types of assistance available for you during this difficult time. Click here to view their website.
Other ways companies and nonprofit corporations are helping is through relief funds. You can apply online through United Way.
