$700,000 for a rear-end auto accident that resulted in two cervical spine surgeries for our client, with a third recommended. Our opponents, the defendant’s insurance company, contended that the need for all surgery was due to our client’s preexisting spine degeneration. We used multiple depositions of our client’s treating spine surgeon to establish a causal connection between the accident and the need for surgeries.
