The publishers of Law & Politics Magazine, in conjunction with San Francisco Magazine, announced today that Andrew R. Gillin, Ralph L. Jacobson, and Luke Ellis have been selected as Super Lawyers for 2006. This honor places them among the top 5% of all attorneys in Northern California.

According to Super Lawyers’ website, www.superlawyers.com, the honor names Northern California’s top lawyers as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. 2006 Northern California Super Lawyers is based on surveys of the approximately 47,000 active lawyers across the northern part of the state. GJEL’s attorneys were selected for the honor in the firm’s primary field of practice: Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Law.

“It’s very satisfying to know that you have earned this level of respect from your peers,” commented GJEL Managing Partner Andrew Gillin. Gillin noted that the firm consistently earns an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell’s Peer Review as well, the highest rating given for ethical standards and legal ability. “We try to keep a fairly low profile with respect to state and local media, so it’s gratifying that our work in the courtroom has spoken for itself in the opinion of our peers.”

Gillin credits the entire GJEL team for this achievement. “Ralph, Luke, and I have been doing this the longest, but we could not get the results we do without enormous support from the other 15 people at Gillin, Jacobson, Ellis & Larsen. We’re extremely proud of them and thank them for continuing to help us serve our clients in the best way possible.”
