Accident Overview
On October 29, 2021, at 2:27 p.m., our client was driving northbound down the Silverado Trail 2 miles south of Yountville Cross Rd. in unincorporated Napa County. Our client was obeying the rules of the road driving his Harley Davidson Road Gide when another driver hit our client, causing a serious car accident. The accident resulted in loss of work, serious injuries, and large medical bills leaving our client in a state of uncertainty.
About the Accident
This was a two-vehicle accident that resulted in serious injuries for our client due to the other driver’s negligence. The driver of the car that caused the accident was driving a 2017 Tesla Model S.
There were no adverse road conditions, and the accident happened when the other driver left their lane and entered our client’s lane.
We represented not only the driver of the motorcycle but his wife.
After the accident, our client was taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa with a fracture to his right arm. His wife was taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa with road rash and bruising to most of her body.
The driver of the car that caused the accident was insured by State Farm, while our client was insured by Mercury Insurance.
Case Facts
Our client needed ongoing medical treatment after the accident, including trauma activation at Queen of the Valley Hospital. At first, State Farm was not confident that our client’s version of the accident was accurate and was unwilling to pay for their medical bills until they could complete their due diligence.
