Emergency responders treated the rider at the scene while the crash blocked the two left lanes near the Diablo Road exit during peak commute hours.

The crash occurred on November 19, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m. on northbound I-680 just south of the Diablo Road exit near Exit 39. CHP reports indicate the collision involved a red Tesla, a BMW motorcycle, and a gray sedan in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.

Early reports to dispatch described a “rider down in lanes,” prompting an immediate emergency response. The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District was notified, and emergency medical crews were dispatched quickly to the scene to provide treatment to the injured motorcyclist.

According to CHP logs, at least one person suffered minor to moderate injuries in the collision. The motorcyclist received medical attention at the scene from first responders.
